#87044 12/13/2001 1:10 PM | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 | one question is ---whatcha gonna do with all them amps? do ya need 'em? at any rate, a good electrical shop can rebuild the gen. and install bigger stator windings--hench--more amps. for a more h.d. regulator, leece-neville makes one that can handle 130 amps o.k. (feel yer back pocket getting lighter?) anyhow, old g.m. generators were used in starter packs years ago--plenty of poop for starting cars with dead batteries.  | | |
