Hy berts53, I have never seen zero compression caused by rings, burned or stuck valves, but not rings, please check the head as well, hope that helps.
X2. To have Zero compression you should be able to see past the rings into the oil pan! Roll the head over, fill the combustion chamber with a thin liquid and watch it run past a valve.
