| | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 69 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 69 | Don't think so...The 216 wouuld be a 6 volt system and the "55 and up would be a 12 volt..the flywheel teeth are a different count and pitch....plus the starter drive shaft dimmention is different...You'll need to take the 216 starter back and get one for whatever 235 engine you have... | | |
