In 1954/55 there was a factory option, two-speed wiper. It is rare but Golden State Pickup seems to be able to find them.
If you plan on using the original radio in a '54, the aftermarket electric wipers will not fit (this is only a problem in a '54 and with a '54 radio and a non-factory electric wiper).
