For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 22 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 22 | I am working on installing the engine into my 1954 3100. I have gotten new mounts, I believe that I understand how to install the rears but I want to be sure, they consist of 2 components, a flat mount with a metal side and a rubber side and a "u" shaped mount with a metal side and a rubber side. I believe that they are supposed to sandwich the cross-member with the "u" shaped mount on top and the flat one underneath with the rubber side contacting the cross-member. If anyone would have access to a diagram or know the correct procedure to install the mounts it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you! | | |
