You're probably also going to find a badly scored crankshaft that might need to be welded and reground. Be careful about swapping cranks- - - -the big V6's were notorious for severe crankshaft balance problems, so salvage the original crank if at all possible. The machine shop where I spent several years working part time sort of specialized in those engines, and they can be a real pain in the butt to keep together.
