I have about 800 miles on the current oil in my 60 truck engine... The oil smells somewhat burnt so I think there may be some residual crap still in it... Engine does not burn oil... I have non detergent oil in it now and have recently added an oil filter... This engine did have some long periods of setting1986-2010... I did run kerosine through it a couple times a year & half ago and that did clean it out some... I have changed the oil twice sense ( hot engine method )...
