yes, the 55-59 check arms are quite similar to the earlier years, with some difference in detail and size ..... need to post up a pic TJ, so we can figure what's been changed, missing, or damaged on yours - where they attach to the top of the doors there's just 2 threaded holes, where they attach to the header panel of the body is where the angle piece attaches to other holes, which can be seen here
