Good info, thanks! I'm replacing a SBC 307 engine (originally 283) in a 59 Burb, and it's getting a late-1970's 3/4 ton Chevy IFS at the same time. The steering gear should mount on the left front frame horn and eliminate any steering column/exhaust interference. I've got a 1970 Caddy Fleetwood tilt-telescope steering column and 6-way power seats to complete the conversion. The seat is a 60/40 split setup that I hope will fit between the Burb front doors. Gotta do a little measuring to confirm that!
