Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 1,177 | Generators don't charge at low RPMs. What happens when you get the engine up to about 1500 RPMs? Does the ammeter go positive? If so, everything is normal. If not, I can think of two possibilities; the fan belt is slipping or the generator is bad. | | |
