| | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 16 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 16 | I'm working on a 51 chevy 1/2 ton pick up and I have what I think is a saginaw 3 speed tranny and only have the stock 3 on the tree linkage. can anyone tell me if the stock there on the tree stuff will work on my transmission? I don't want to go through the hassle of installing it if it won't work with an way solution. In other words, if it takes too much work to make it work, I'd rather just use the stock 4 speed.
