tclederman Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Jarvisburg, NC, USA	I have used 20W-50 oil in 216 (babbit rod bearings) and 235 (insert rod bearings) engines that were old and had low oil pressure. My guess is that oil might have gotten a little extra life out of those engines. In any case, I doubt if that oil caused any harm/damage. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
