I have a 54 3100 with a 350 chevy with a edelbrock performer manifold and 1604 carb.
The truck starts great but i have issues pulling away from junctions, lights etc.
The truck bogs down then picks up, or will backfire through the carb and nearly stall. I have put the accelerator pump in the top hole for more of a squirt but this does not help.
I think im running lean off idle and was going to up the metering rods one stage richer (23 in the tuning graph)what do you all think ?
