It is spot welded all around the windshield area and inside where it curves by the doors. All of us who have spent any time on these trucks have gone through this. I can make a couple suggestions to make it easier. Work from left to right as you put the parts in so gauges, then speedo, then radio grill, then glovebox. It also can help to remove the shifter and the seat so you can move around better.
