#86344 08/30/2003 1:09 AM | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 20 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 20 | I recently replaced the sending unit in my '53 and the instructions I had that came with the wiring harness said connect the wire from the sending unit to the F terminal on the gauge. I took that to mean the terminal on the (F)ull side of the gauge. That terminal had a bright red cardboard square attached to it also. Connected the other terminal to the ignition switch, made sure the sending unit was grounded to the cab and the gauge works fine. Good Luck-- Pete
