| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | yes, a 55/6 grill should fit fine, I'd guess the repop part is the problem - body shims might help, but what happens with the grill fit when the fenders pull in so much they crimp the hood? ... have you tried using the original 57 bar? it'll work with the 55/6 grill, just needs the mounting flats covered as Tom did - I've put a 55 grill with its top bar on a a 57 project temporarily, worked fine Bill | | |
