My guess is you'd get a better response with some pictures and more information. Is this related to the '57 3100 on your profile? Is it the original mount, a used one from a parts yard, Ebay, aftermarket etc.? Did you modify anything while it was removed? Was the truck ever in an accident? Given the limited information you provided and the lack of photographic "evidence", it's hard for anyone to give you a hand with so many variables.
