One of mine did too. I ended up heating the frame and driving the bar out through the screw holes with a long skinny drift until it stuck out far enough to grab hold of with vice grips. If that had failed I was going to drill and tap the end of the bar and run a machine screw in and grab hold of that. Lucky for me it didn't come to that!
