Forgive me for being over excited, but since purchasing my GMC 350 but not actually having it moved or getting to crawl around it much yet, I am speculating and collecting Data as best I can. I was not able to open the hood and thus have no idea what I am actually Going to find under there, but my Data tag specifies it is (was) a 95 HP engine.
Standard engine for this model was a 248 ( I think there were options ? ) does this HP correspond to a 248? ( the only data I can find in print for the 248 is "SEMA" standards and calls out about 32 hp ) I beleive we are talking about a 1948 model BTW in a 350 series truck.
