| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | sounds like there may be a bad connection, so yes it'd be good if there was a ground engine to frame, or if battery ground went direct to one of the starter mount bolts [best] .... the foot start switch will not work in place of the solenoid, you'll need to swap in a starter that has the switch on it
