This is my first time setting the point gap using a dwell meter. Up until now I have always set them with a feeler gage and called it good enough. I had initially done that with this motor and today when I checked it with the meter I found the gap to be too wide and the dwell to be about 10 degrees off so it was fun for me to get it spot on with the meter. I should have got a tach and dwell meter long ago!
