For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 153 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 153 | I just completed the install similar to vickraft with a Tanks Inc universal tank U1-GH except substituted the 2 inch filler tube with a 2.25 filler. Add the 60 degree elbow and it comes up through the floor of the cab behind the seat. I had a muffler shop make me an extension of the filler tube.
I made brackets to strap the tank up between the frame and the drive shaft. I used a stock filler tube that came off a stock tank through a hole in the floor behind the seat into the tank. I also made an access hole for the sending unit and fuel line.
BigErn I will attempt to email or PM some pictures to you. 1946 Chevy Half Ton ('56 235, '86 T5, '79 Camaro Z28 rear end, working on the '85 Jaguar XJ6 IFS) 1976 Margay Panther X, MC91B | | |
