Your first post here and you want to talk about Corvairs!! Are you sure you don't want Corvair Central, Corvair Center or Virtual Vairs??
Same regulator and as Hotrod said, the 30 will probably hold up just fine. All have three connections; B(bat),A(sometimes called gen), and F(field). All have three relays inside; cutout, current reg, and voltage reg.
