If anyone out there comes across a new or good used/rebuilt GM Voltage Regulator #1119305 I would be interested in it. I have a 64 Corvair van in need of that "35 amp" VR... I'm trying to keep it as original as possible (my other 61 Corvair Greenbrier and 64 Corvair sedan both have alternator conversions done to them). I've been told by a reliable source that the VR mentioned above also had a "cut out" switch to keep the generator from "motoring" once the belt was lost, so the "GEN" light would come on... once case where an AMP gauge would come in handy.
