The older trucks use 2-1/4" tall wood blocks that have bed bolts running through them to support the bed. When these rot away or wear out they sag. Also cab mounts wear out making the cab lean further compounding the look.
Haha. All the wood blocks on my '52 are gone. The bed is being support by the floor boards directly in contact with the frame axle "hump". The saggin bed caused the bed to rub a hole in the top of the filler panel between running boards and bed. Not to mention all the strain and cracking to rear fender sheet metal at running board connection.
