steppenwood, this thread brings back memories. I ran wiring for telephone switch boards before solid circut swirch boards became the norm. We also used a flat wax sting to bumdle these. Made for a real neat bumdles. Start off with a bundle about as big as my wrist, it would start dropping wires at each relay, finally tapering down to a couple wires. Some of thse boards were 6/8 feet high and maybe 8/10 feet long. It looked complated to build but was really easy if you had good color vision. The engeeniers had it all laid out. All one had to do was follow the key sheet. Hated the job, cooped up inside, no real thinking needed to do it. But the end result was neat to see. Mike
