Lonnie, Tim, thanks. I will check the existing hole. There was an antenna in there when I got the truck in 1973. Seems to me that the hood did touch the antenna when it was open, but I'll check tomorrow. There is a 6 volt AM radio (VW) in the truck now, but it hasn't worked in many years. I have a 12 V. AM/FM radio of the same size that I thought I might try. I'm also working on a way to get 12V. More on that later.
