My concern is for the acid that is a component of the DTM primer eating paint it is applied over... If your stripping down to metal, no worries.
I have no experience with POR products. I try test area by sanding the fully cured POR with 80 grit and hitting that with a couple coats of epoxy and seeing how it is after it has a chance to cure as well.
