| | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 21 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 21 | Due to a bad back, I am being forced to remove the standard transmission crossmember on my 67 C30. Looking at a C50 I have, it has a removable standard tranmission crossmember. I realize that the transmission crossmember is the primary securing point on the 55 thru 72 GM trucks vs the engine mount from 73 up. If anyone has pics of a mod they made to make the trans mount removable would you please post some pics. | | |
