no,I only use Eastwoods primers. On the 55 2nd series I used a lemonwood yellow color single stage urethane I dont remember what brand it was. The single stage candy apple gold metalic paint TCP calles it "firethorn red" I picked up from TCP Global and the name of the brand is called Restoration Shop and cost $120.00 shipping and all. The one from TCP is a complete kit that comes with the hardner and reducer. And it sprays very well for the money. They say that you do not have to add the reducer. But I found adding 1 part to 4 parts of paint makes it spray real smooth. I like the Eastwood epaoxy primer, it sparays very well through my primer gun. The only thing about the Eastwood Epoxy is that it is a b***h to clean up the gun after I'm done. But that just goes to show how well the stuff works. I restore my trucks as daily drivers so the single stage paints are the best way to go for me. They look good and hold up well. And I don't have to worry about nicks and scratches because for what it costs for the paint. I can always repaint the trucks if i want to.
