My 3/4 ton panel truck came to me with many parts in boxes. I'm currently trying to configure the master cylinder/brake pedal setup. The MC is mounted on the frame, with the plunger pointing to the rear (unlike my 37 1/2 ton, which is turned the other direction). Behind it on the frame is mounted a bracket that swivels, which is connected to the plunger on the MC. The brake pedal is in a box. I can't seem to figure out how the pedal is mounted and how it actuates the brakes. It's obviously a different system from the 1/2 and passenger car.

From studying the parts book, it appears the most of the parts for the 3/4 ton, 1 ton, and 1 1/2 are the same for both 1937 and 1938 trucks. I've looked in the shop manual, construction manual, and parts book, but I can't locate a schematic or picture of this setup. Does anyone know where I can find a schematic of this brake system or have a picture that can be posted or sent to me? I'd greatly appreciate any help (what part/s am I missing or need to locate in order to mount the pedal, etc.?).

Thanks very much.

Jim
