No. A person from the filling station said he thought I had the clutch disc in backward and to pull it out and turn it around. Right like that is easy. It does not change the thickness? Right now mine is at about 1.5 inch pedal free play. Thinking about this I believe as the disc wears the pressure plate fingers will extend toward the Throw out bearing. I think it will be fine. Question for you. Do you know how the brake pedal spring is attached? Was there one. Also is there supposed to be a spring under the gas pedal? I can send pictures if it helps.
