I'm most of the way through my upgrade to a Canadian-built 1/2 ton pickup with the 3 speed using the CPP kit.

First of all, I'm doing brakes, tapered roller bearings, and a dual master cylinder upgrade (not power-assisted). So far, things have bolted together well, and I've just been collecting a few misc. parts to finish things off. If you're doing the dual master cylinder as well, you'll need a 9/16-18 inverted flare to 7/16-24 inverted flare adapter to connect the 1/4" rear brake line to the proportioning valve - I used NAPA's part # BK 6413309. While I'm at it, I'm replacing all the lines, as well as the rear wheel cylinders.

My stock wheels did not clear the callipers, so I'm going to need to go with something new. I'm leaning towards Wheelsmith's "Vintage" 16x6's, and I'll probably go with Michelin 215/85 x 16s or 225/75 x 16s.

Haven't any issues with the emergency brake cable.

I've got a few pages on my blog outlining what I've done so far, if that helps.

Cheers,
Fraser
