there was the option on the big trucks of getting a 235 as early as the 42-46 models (got my chevy restoration guide and it has the toque curves and everything) since this is a 2-ton, being a 47 does not preclude it from having a 235...
that siad, I have no idea if that is or is not what those motors look like from that time.
