Drydock, no, there isnt a governor on the truck, I just notice that loop tonight. In fact, I just got the Carter W1 back together after a good bath in the carb soak bucket. I hope this will cure some of the issues it's having with running rough. It appears recently rebuilt, but has been sitting with 3 year old gas in it so I hope it was just gummed up. Tomorrow will tell the tale.
Y'all are right, my two daughters (4 & 6) and I pretty much fill up the cab. One good thing, I can roll down the passenger window without bending over in the seat.
