It appears you can mount either the bed or running board first. My bed was mostly non-existent when I disassembled it 3 years ago so I am not positive how tightly these parts fit together. I thought it might be a little easier to mount the bed w/o the running boards in place. On the other hand I don't want to have to lift the bed to get the running board/splash shield in place.
Since I have the option to assemble these parts in any order what generally works best?
