Hotrod, another question. This engine is a propane irrigation engine. My cousin recommends assembling the rings with no oil at all, just put some lube on the piston skirts. I just don't feel comfortable doing it this way, but he is the best mechanic I know. I have always lubed the piston rings in the past and can't say that I have ever had a problem with getting the rings to seal, even on propane engines.
