don stocker Shop Shark D Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,544 osceola, wi	If you have a stomp starter you don't have a solenoid for the starter. Its a mechanical switch, you push the button on the floor it pushes the switch to make a connection to engage the starter motor.
