| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | that rusting from the top is actually rusting up from inside that V brace that's original underneath, which is the only "doubling" - always the first place to go because of the road crud that gets caught in there - good idea to spray inside the new one thoroughly with something like rock-gard or epoxy primer
