The GMC 302 stright six would be the perfect motor for you and pulls up hills and trailers.It is the best stright six i ever driven and i have all of them.But a stright diesel would be sweet as well.I plan on building a truck with a duramax diesel v-8 soon as possable.I have a 2005 duramax diesel truck and i love it.Hope it helps.
