From Cliff :

Here is my 1957 Chevy 4400 1.5-ton that I found it in the newspaper. The truck was owned buy the original owners until I bought it a year ago. They owned an orchard and used the truck to transport fruit to the market about 15 miles away. That is why it has only 12,000 miles on it and is in the great shape it’s in.

The old man loved this truck and his wife kept it for many years after his death. I drove my blue 1955 GMC to go look at it. After her seeing my truck and telling her about my love for these trucks, she had no doubt I was the one for the truck. She also about hit the floor when I told her I had over 20 of these trucks. She said that here husband would have wanted me to have it. So I paid for the truck, though a battery in it, put some gas in her and drove her home! She runs like a top. I promised I would never sell it and I never will.

I will be opening a truck and car restoration shop in Lincoln, California in the next few months. I will specialize in 1955-1972 Chevy and GMC trucks but do all the cars as well. If you need your truck or car done right, shoot me a message.

August 2008

My shop is now open! It is in Loomis, California. I restore or work on 1947-72 Chevy and GMC trucks and cars. I will also build street rods and customs. I will do custom paint jobs as soon as the paint both is up and running. I will also do body and metal fabrication, body modifications and rust repair.

I love the 1955 - 1959 trucks and have 22 of them and will post pictures of them in the future.

           Thanks for looking.

Cliff Lowrie

Cliff has a real collection of trucks. Some in the Gallery, others "not yet!" Here is a group shot of his trucks and one that belongs to one of his best friends. This is another shot of some of his other trucks (different from the previous ones). This one is his 1959 Chevrolet Utility truck. Here is one of his 1958 GMC Fleetsides.

In the Gallery, we have: a 1955 GMC BIG Window; a 1959 Chevy Short Fleetside; a 1957 Chevy 1.5-Ton. ~~ Editor
