Anyone have any thoughts on max engine RPM for extended periods with a stovebolt 6. I have a stock '62 261, SM420, with a 3.9 rear and 30" tires. A RPM calculater tells me I would be turning 2850 rpm at 65 mph. Is this a engine RPM that I should be comfortable running for extended periods of time? I have always just gone by the sound of the engine so I really do not know RPM. TIA,
