| | | | Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 9 | I was wondering if a 1957 gmc 270 inline 6 will drop right into place of my original 216. there is a guy that has one for sale by me on craigslist for $200. out of a jimmy with 60k on it ready to run. I have the stock 4 on the floor but going to replace with a s10 t-5 trans and nova rear end. Im pretty sure the 49 bellhousing wont be a problem just curious about clearence up front by the radiator and if the motor mounts are the same. Any and all help will be much appreciated!!! thanks all!
