Posted a few nights ago that my original 216 was smoking too bad to be anything but a rebuild, had a friend with a 48 that had the original engine (216) that had been rebuilt two years ago. He is going to a rebuilt 235 and asked if i needed his 216, said if i would help him do the engine swap he would let me have it for free. Could not pass it up as i have driven his truck numerous times and knew the engine was in alot better shape than mine. My question now is will this be a straight out swap or do i need to watch for anything strange.
