Hey guys been a while since I've been on forum. I am in process of doing frame up on my 52. This project has been ongoing for several years as I don't have 30 guys to help with rebuild as they do on Television:) and I'm buying panels as I can afford them and have time to do the work. My truck is setting in covered shop but exposed to outdoor elements at times. The panels have black semi glass primer from dynacorn which has faded in time. I want to use epoxy primer as I hear good things. I had someone tell me that I would have to sand these panels to bare metal to do this. The areas that I have sanded to weld show no signs of rust under primer....any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance for any imput!
