This is the story. I should be getting my 235 from the mechanic next month and am investigating the convertion of 6 volts to 12 volts in my 48 3100. My headlights are extremely dull and I am not sure if a bad battery is the cause and if the change would be best. I don't have any extras on the truck. Just a normal truck. I like the 6 volt system - just not dull headlights.
