I have one and love it. I wanted to use the Smithy's, but didn't want the fuss of mail ordering them, so I went with a set of 24" glass packs from the local muffler shop and 2" pipes all the way back. It has a nice sound at idle, and just tooling around, but when you open the throttle wide at around 2000 rpm's, look out. She really talks. I can't say much about performance, because I installed them at the same time I installed the rebuilt 235. My pipe crosses over under the tailshaft of the transmission. The transmission drain plug misses the pipe, and also the u-joint ball. If you would need it, I could see about taking a picture, just let me know.
