the mount holes for the frame bracket are always there, from the factory it would have been riveted in, the repro brackets bolt in the same holes, see my pic above - the big hole next to the bracket is where the 235 mounts and where your home made ones are - support the engine, pull those DIY pieces, and the correct mounts should bolt right up
