i have a 53 chevy 210 sedan with those 2 captains bars on the engine,and its connected to a powerglide trans from the factory (trans is factory),looks like the motor may have been changed obviously,but the engine mount towers bolt right up,i was told 261 engines came later,but need to verify this of course i scratched the serial number near the dist and came up with ""LAQ 380I32 and number near the starter is con1 G 10 3 can anyone help with this decipher thankyou
