Does your truck have a fuse box on driver side of firewall with 5 fuses or a small box with only 2 fuses? http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/shop/1948_51truck/51ctsm1201.htm Also, does your truck have modern telescopic-type shocks on front or "knee-action" type? For me thats the easiest way to tell a 49 from a 50. Of course those could have been changed... Professional Novice
